Jorin Limited was incorporated in 1998 by Nick Roth, Rick Gaskin and John Roth, to develop a concept for an on-line water quality analyser for the oil and gas industry.

The Visual Process Analyser, the ViPA, was taken from concept to prototype during 1998 and the initial aim was to provide offshore oil producers with on-line data in real-time for produced water treatment and re-injection applications.

The first instruments were installed during 1999 in the North Sea, within 12 months of the company's inception, and sales growth has remained consistently strong since.

As it became clear how powerful the ViPA was as an investigative tool, as well as being a process control device, the company began to offer process consultancy and investigation services based around the use of the ViPA technology and experienced process engineers, leading to the launch of the Process Insight service.

The company now has 15 members of staff and is based in the heart of the United Kingdom near Leicester where it has its primary development and manufacturing facilities, administrative offices and training facilities.

Since our incorporation we have supplied over 200 analyser systems and provided analysers and consultancy services to customers on 6 continents; our client list for products and services includes:
