At the heart of our analyses are images of the droplets, particles and bubbles. We use the most advanced cameras and lighting modules that meet our requirements for rugged and reliable performance to capture clear, high quality, high resolution images of the microscopic fluid contaminants because without really high quality images, you cannot produced really high quality data.
Amongst the most advanced image processing software available, the ViPA software package is constantly being developed and refined to identify particle types more accurately, to identify more particle types and to provide quality data in the formats that engineers need to understand, develop and control separation and filtration processes.
The ViPA measures and calculates 18 different parameters for every particle and this information is used both to determine what the particle is (oil droplet, gas bubble or solid) as well as to determine particle size and concentration. This data is all recorded for each and every particle, giving full traceability and without approximations or extrapolation and it is possible to record individual images or whole sequences of images too. This enables the ViPA technology to deliver much more than simple oil in water concentrations; full particle size distributions and concentration measurements for both droplets and solids, all online, make the ViPA a unique tool for full fluid characterisation.
But all this data and analytical power needs to be harnessed in a digestible and user friendly way, and our HMI provide simple, clear and intuitive touchscreen interfaces for our automated analyser packages ensures that the systems can be operated easily and with minimal user training and experience.
